complications

While I was feeling great following Matthew's birth, things are not always what they appear to be. Short story is I ended up having postpartum preeclampsia and was at risk of having seizures or a stroke, though I didn't realize that at the time. I was so grateful to have my parents around and able to help. My mom took care of the kids and me for three days while my internist tried to help me figure out what was going on. In the end, divine intervention helped me where medical intervention failed. In answer to a blessing of health, I was healed and have been doing great ever since. My OBGYN agreed it was a miracle that I overcame the condition without being hospitalized. We are grateful to a merciful God who blesses us so abundantly.
