I thought it was about time to post a picture of me as a pregnant lady. I look a little pale in this picture--and honestly don't wear the hat often--but this is pretty much me. (Notice the hugely swolen ankle/foot area, practically blending into one!) I actually googled "hobbit feet," planning to post a picture of that as well, and had to laugh at how many of the image results were other pregnant women! My immense swelling is nothing unique.
That said, I am grateful to still be pregnant with this little boy. In the past ten days, three first-time moms I know have delivered premature babies: twins at 28 weeks, girl at 32 weeks and boy at 34 weeks. I think all of the babies will do okay but it is a rough start. Matthew and I are doing just great, swelling and all!
